The dragonfly is a symbol of renewal, rebirth, and strength. The Native people’s have always honored the dragonfly for its attributes. Being able to see in nearly 360 degrees, flies in any direction including backwards, and being a symbol of family are some of these characteristics that make the dragonfly so special. 

Made from the archaic say of jewelry called Tufa Stone casting. This is where you first carve the soft volcanic ash. The metal is the melted and poured into the carved mold. The sand texture is what makes this technique unique and beautiful.
