This is the butterfly ring. Both the butterfly and the ring band are Tufa cast. This is the texture that is the ring. This is a smaller ring size at size 4 1/2 but is made with thick Sterling Silver. 

The butterfly is the symbol of transformation.  Starting out as one thing and then transforming to a new form. The butterfly is coveted by many tribal communities because it is a symbol of Community as the butterfly is a social species. We adorn ourselves with these symbols to protect us.
